Welcome! SapphireBTC.com is a small business, based in Cochrane, Alberta. We supply high quality, user friendly, home bitcoin mining equipment.

The Nerdminer Sapphire is a small, ultra-low energy miner, consuming a mere 1-2 watts of electricity. It is a great learning tool, and fantastic little lotto miner.

We will be adding to our product line
Instead of offering as wide a range of re-sold products as possible, like many of our competitors, we aim to curate a collection of products that we can be proud to stand behind. Our view is that quality is far more important than quantity. When you buy from us, you can do so with the knowledge that you are supporting a small business, which sells only premium home mining equipment - the kind that we use ourselves.

We Try to Avoid Sourcing our Components from China.
Where possible, all of our components are sourced from Europe, America, or Alberta (though the chips themselves will often be Chinese for lack of other options).

Our miners are not only mostly made with European, American, or Albertan components, they are made to the highest standards. Those miners that we do not make ourselves, are only sourced from manufacturers that we can trust to meet our standards.
User Friendly.
It can be daunting to get started with bitcoin mining. While our miners are user-friendly, we understand that sometimes you just need a bit of help. That's why we include setup guides with our miners, and we also provide them right here on this website. Get off of zero hash!
What does "Get off of Zero Hash" mean? Bitcoin mining is measured in hash attempts per second. The number of hash attempts per second that a miner can make, is called its "hashrate". The hashrates of bitcoin miners on the market today vary wildly. But even the smallest, most energy efficient, little Nerdminer Sapphire, with its 250,000 hash attempts per second (250 KH/S), could potentially mine a block. Every single hash matters, and if you aren't hashing, you can't mine a block. So, pick up a miner today, and get off of zero hash!
